Paul Simmons has been in the security/law enforcement industry for 35 years. He has worked as a police officer in the UK, State Security Manager for the retail giant K mart and in the private security industry as an equal partner in Perth Security Services.
In 2005 MCS Security was born and clients that had previously used Paul’s service had no hesitation in putting their current security service requirements in the hands of MCS, again a testament of the professionalism of the business.
Grainne is the newest member of the team joining us in May 2010. Her experience in office administration is second to none. Her professionalism and eye for detail will continue to develop MCS as a company that exceeds client expectations in all areas. Grainne is responsible for all administrative functions including pay roll and hers will usually be the first voice you hear when contacting the office.
Mark Lyon was a Senior Officer in a Maximum Security Prison in the UK for 10 years, his main roll was the training of other officers in conflict resolution, occupational health and safety plus negotiation techniques and roster maximisation.
He arrived in Australia in 2006 and immediately began working with MCS as on Site Supervisor at the Hillarys Boat Harbour. His skills and efficiencies were obviously evident and he was promoted to Head of Operations a position he held for 2 years. With the growth experienced by the company there was a need for a General Manager and Mark has filled this position with a smooth transition and no disruption to operations.
Matthew joined MCS in October 2008 as Security Officer at one of our major sites. He was promoted to Site Supervisor in 2009 and excelled in this position. With the expansion of the company Matthew was the obvious choice to fill the vacant Operations Manager position. He not only brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the team but has the knowledge and hands on experience of what is required to provide a professional security service that does exceed client expectations.
